A TRULY WORLD CLASS DESTINATION
A sight to savour round every corner
Whether it’s the majestic Georgian architecture of the New Town, the winding streets and attractions of the Medieval Old Town or the stunning geological wonders around Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh offers an unforgettable feast for the eyes. It’s easy to see why Edinburgh is a top destination for visitors.
A cultural leader
Scotland’s capital city truly does cater for everyone when it comes to culture and entertainment. Alongside the annual Festival are a whole host of celebrations that cover just about every topic, from film and literature to science, music and more.
Excellent accommodation
No matter your budget or the size of your party, the University of Edinburgh has a range of outstanding accommodation, from luxury hotels and stylish aparthotels, to summer accommodation in student residences. Beyond this there are over 10,000 hotel bedrooms across the city, giving you piece of mind that there’s ample room for all your delegates.
Eating and drinking in style
Edinburgh’s culinary scene draws foodies from across the country – and delights palates from across the world. Edinburgh is home to three of Scotland’s 10 Michelin starred restaurants (2022 guide). But you don’t have to spend big to experience big flavours with a whole host of restaurants, bars and outlets that will suit your taste, and your budget.
Getting here and getting around.
Edinburgh Airport connects the capital to more than 130 destinations. We’re only a 1-hour flight from London or a seven-hour flight from the East coast of the US. Bus, tram and taxi services are practical and plentiful. And, for the amount it packs in, Edinburgh is a small city, so walking is often a viable option.
Getting here is easy, but we can’t promise you’ll find it easy to leave!
