Having undergone major redevelopment over recent years, Holland House now provides the perfect accommodation for groups of visitors to Edinburgh. With 300+ en-suite bedrooms plus a large common area with TV and lounge area, it’s a favourite with travelling sports teams, language schools and many others. 

Located at the base of Arthur’s Seat – a local favourite for hiking and outdoor activities – Holland House is the ideal base from which you can explore all of the iconic landmarks and tourist attractions of Scotland’s capital.

The Brasserie at The Scholar Hotel is open to all and serves modern British cuisine with
seasonal twists. Fresh, local ingredients from Scottish suppliers fuel our diverse menu,
expertly crafted by Executive Chef Ed Fortune.
At The Scholar’s Lounge Bar, you can sip on cocktails, craft beers, fine wines, and spirits,
or indulge in something delicious from our All Day Menu.
Or relax amidst the greenery of the Garden Terrace where you can enjoy a refreshing
drink, crafted in partnership with Pickering’s Gin, or take your time indulging in our Garden
Terrace Menu.
